Market: Eibar win

Odds: 19/20 @

Hoping to widen their buffer at the top of the Segunda table on Sunday afternoon, Eibar will welcome Andorra to the Ipurua Municipal Stadium.

Starting with the hosts, mounting what was a remarkable second-half comeback away at Mirandes last weekend, Eibar are in the midst of what has become a remarkable Segunda flurry. Eventually snatching a dramatic 3-2 victory away from the Ipurua Municipal Stadium, Gaizka Garitano s men have only continued to gain a string of admirers from across Spain this season. Holding a four-point buffer over the chasing pack, it is no secret that Los Armeros are tipped as a runaway pick to claim a La Liga return in 2023. With the mood in their camp at a red-hot high, Eibar have certainly come roaring back…

Bayern ´really couldn´t help´ Nagelsmann leak, will ´let Tuchel be Tuchel´

Bayern Munich are adamant they were not at fault as Thomas Tuchel s appointment was reported before previous head coach Julian Nagelsmann had been sacked.

Nagelsmann was said to have learned of his departure through the media while skiing in Austria this week.

The news first broke on Thursday but was not made official for another 24 hours, by which point Tuchel had formally agreed to take the Bayern job.

However, Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic appeared on SPORT1 s STAHLWERK Doppelpass on Sunday and defended the club s position.

We met [with Tuchel] on Tuesday, had a very good conversation, Salihamidzic said. And on Wednesday and Thursday, we negotiated with Thomas managers.

On Thursday evening, we learned that the information had be…

Prediction: Sevilla vs Barcelona

Verdict: Both teams to score – yes

Best Odds:

Bookmaker:

Runaway La Liga leaders Barcelona travel to Sevilla this weekend looking to extend their formidable unbeaten league record. The Catalans are well on course to clinch another Spanish title but cannot afford to drop their guard despite the 11-point advantage in front of second-placed Atletico Madrid.

Sevilla

The March international break could not have come at the best moment for Sevilla. Los Rojiblancos are coming off from successive La Liga defeats – against Valencia and Leganes respectively – which saw them drop to sixth place in the standings.

Having been pushed down the table to the last remaining European slot, the Andalusians will have used the international break to regroup and…

Kinnear: I want the best at Newcastle

Newcastle director of football Joe Kinnear is looking to bring the best players available for Alan Pardew to play with on Tyneside.

The 48-year-old Italian says he wants to see more consistency from the Frenchman.

In my opinion, we are talking about a top, top player, Mancini told The Mirror.

If he wants, he can change every game, but I think he can do better. He s played some good games for us, but he can do better because he has got ¬everything.
